Murphy deal fall out

Okay I think this might actually be REALISTIC. Do you?

Now New Jersey is in need of a 2 guard. Trade Rip Hamilton to NJ for Kris Humphries in a pure salary dump move for Detroit.

The fall out is that we have what, 3M left in cap, so much for waiting for the deadline to add a player in a salary dump to gain a draft pick. Nope, smart GMs do that, not Nets GMs.

You think this team will start playing defense just cause Avery is here, there isn't 1 good defender on the roster now, other then a rookie James.

Why would we want Hamilton when we can start TWill at the 2?

How about a trade for Rudy Fernandez? Use your cap space & trade either GS pick or your future pick....

Murphy was a beast in college, and since he's been with the Pacers he has returned to beast mode.

He will stretch the floor for Lopez on offense, and take a lot of the pressure off of him on the defensive boards.

At 6'11" Murphy can cover for Lopez in spurts, so he and Favors can be on the floor at the same time.

Murphy is a complementary player so he won't mess up the flow of the offense, but if need be, if you feed him shots, he will score.

Murphy is the right veteran to add to your promising frontline. Hopefully you can retain him for half the cost at seasons end.

I know CLee was well liked, but anytime you can add a double-double machine you do it. Trading a small for a big in this situation is okay.

Why do we need a SG now?

We made this move cause we were stacked there.

This move was made for now (a playoff push) and the future (Melo/20mil cap space next offseason).

God I've never seen so many people freak out about a move this minor. Guys like C.Lee can be found in the late first round calm down here and Murphy has more value then Lee anyway.

Strange I had a dream last night Dumbo (Farmar) hit four three pointers for the Lakers.
Worst come to worst he plays with Devin.
