Rubio better than Rose

Post#1 » by Spider156 » Thu Aug 26, 2010 10:11 am

Watching the Spain vs. USA exhibition game, I noticed that Rubio is a better PG than Rose. The only thing Rose has over him is scoring. Rubio is a better defender and distributor. I feel like Rubio will be the new Nash/Parker mix. Thoughts...

You "noticed" that?

While not a fan of the first sentence of your post, I do like your choice of comparables for Rubio, I think that's a good description of his talents, hopefully he becomes a Nash/Parker mix, he would be one of the very top PGs in the league. I think he has a shot to do that, I just hope we get to find out with him playing as a T-wolf.

What's wrong with my first sentence? It was the first time Rose and Rubio played against each other and Rubio ripped him apart and I NOTICED that.

Could've perfectly fit into our 39 pages Ricky Rubio threat: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1005853&start=570

I wouldn't judge Rubio after 1 exhibition game but you can clearly see that he can compete on top level basketball against the best players.

Spider, I'm going to lock this because we have a Rubio thread laready where we are discussing his performance against USA. Feel free to repost there and check out the last 2 or 3 pages.
