OT: Tyreke Evans SICK Handles!

Post#1 » by KF10 » Tue Aug 31, 2010 9:15 am

In this video, it displays an array of Evans' handles, crossovers and hesitation moves. Evans' ball handling skills tend to get underrated in these boards (not in Kings board but the other boards). As a rookie, Evans displayed one of the best handles in the NBA already. He absolutely killed #24 in this video:

I knew Evans can do this but why can't he do this at an actual game!? I know, I know, it is show boating but from what I seen, he looked more conservative in the NBA if you compare him in HS. If you take a clip of Evans in HS, he had FLAIR and JAW DROPPING moves.

It is a bit selfish from my part but I want Evans to regain some flair that he once had back in HS. Even if it is once in a while :P

great find! damn, and people think rose has better handles than reke... dont see rose doing those kind of stuff... reke doesnt really do that in games, funny thing is he gets in the lane at will even if he doesnt do the fancy dribbling...

He still doesnt look "smooth" though. It's obvious he can dribble the ball well with shakes and moves, but if he can do it and make it look effortless this dude handles would look more fluid

People don't fall for that as easily in the NBA, that's why you don't see it as much from Tyreke or anybody really.

He looks plenty smooth and fluid in my opinion.

I agree.

It cracks me up how some people say he isn't a great ball-handler. I remember seeing some crazy moves last. This one in particular (I forget who against) where he was in the backcourt in a scuffle for the ball and the way he dribbled out of trouble was just....sick haha.
