Semi-OT: Millions tune in to see Zombo (Packers vs. Bears)

Post#1 » by Newz » Thu Sep 30, 2010 8:29 pm

Journal Sentinel - More than 17.4 million viewers watched the Chicago Bears beat the Green Bay Packers on ESPN's "Monday Night Football," making it the fifth most-viewed telecast in cable TV history.

National Football League games account for eight of the top 10 most-viewed telecasts in cable television. Last season's Packers at Minnesota Vikings game on Oct. 5 is the most-viewed show on cable TV, with more than 21.8 million viewers

That's crazy that it was the fifth most-viewed telecast in cable TV history. :o

Packers v. Queens last year was the most watched ever. 8 of the top 10 are NFL games.

Wow... this seems really randomly surprising to me...
