LeBron or CP3

Post#1 » by TR50 » Sat Oct 9, 2010 3:45 pm

Pretty self explanatory, in both types of leagues, Roto and H2H, who goes #2? Is it really clear cut CP3?

I am leaning that way, but it's hard to ignore LeBron.

i can only speak from a H2H perspective seeing as how i have never done roto.

From a H2H point of view at least, you have to guess at what having wade and bosh as teammates will do. FG% might rise across the board cause of all the looks they all give each other, turnovers may be reduced on an individual level and each may see an uptick in assists. However, points between the three will most certainly decrease, and lebron will have to fight for boards with a good rebounding sg in wade and bosh. Lebron will still be consistent but don't expect those 40 points+ games along with 8 boards and 7 assists.

On the other hand, Chris Paul has great %'s and i believe it will remain around the same. He gets at least a 3 a game, assists go without say and his steals are valuable. The only concern is how he recovers from his injury from last year, if it makes him into a marcus camby type in terms of durability. There is no doubt however that when healthy he is worthy of a top 3 pick.

TLDR version- Lebron if you like consistency and are risk adverse, Paul if your a gamblin man and can get a nice return on said gamble
