Looking for 2 things out of the game:
1) Play the motion offense for the whole game and not devolve into iso-fest again in the 4th.
2) Complete the game with no more injuries (for either team).

Will this game be televised or am I out of luck again?

Listened to the game and saw the stat lines, sounded like Jordan Crawford was the star of the game. 20 points, 7 assists, 3 rebounds, and a steal.

Crawford also played 45 mins with 7/17 shooting and 3 turnovers. Still, it's great to have an over confident rookie rather than our usual timid ones (law, teague).

Yeah....because Acie and Teague have never had a good pre-season game before

Both Acie and Teague had plenty of good pre-season games, i know. What I am commenting on is the difference in playing style. From what we have seen and heard it would be hard to imagine Jordan playing scared once the real season starts. If anything the coaching staff will have to settle him down a bit. This to me is an exciting change from the scared and timid rookie seasons of both acie and jeff.

Wiz fan here with a question. I saw tonight that Horfford again started at the 5. I know its just Preseason but I also know that Drew said he would be a 4 mostly this year. I assumed ZaZa would start but he played a came off the bench. Do you guys know for sure where Al will start at when the season comes around?

Horford,Smith, and Joe will never come off the bench as long as they are on the team.

No my friend. I definitely know that all 3 of them will start and should easily start. My question was that I thought Za Za or someone else would start at the 5 with Al moving to the 4 and Marvin moving to the bench or something like that. Thats the impression I got from Drew's comments. Right now Im thinking that he really meant it but as things went along, he started to feel that the team may still be better with Al at the 5 and either Marvin or Crawford in the starting lineup

No, you misread LD's comments. LD is an offensive coach and where the players play there is more how he sees his players than on the D end as Woodson saw his players. More than likely you'll see Horford playing more high post (generally a PF position) with Smoove in the low post (generally a C slot) and that is how Drew will say he's playing more time @ PF. Sure, there will be some lineups with those 2 and a more traditional C, but those will likely be "gimmick" lineups to force a matchup issue - not a starting lineup.

Not what I expected when I saw the box score. Teague out, Marvin out, Josh in. Didn't realize the injuries were as such. Credit to LD for playing Jordan Crawford almost the full game instead of playing Joe 40 minutes in a meaningless game like Woodson had a habit of doing. Hard to take much away from this. Hope we get a full compliment for some of the preseason games.

Has anyone watched a full game or atleast a first quarter? If so, does the offense look ok? Is it crisp or is it sloppy? Box scores cant tell the story for me.
Is it to much to ask for a team that plays hard and cares? Seems so.

The game wasn't televised so it was only on radio.
