I got Rudy Gay for...
Andray Blatche for Rudy Gay in a 12 team, standard categories league. How did I do? I had plenty of big men (B. Lopez, bargani, Duncan, gooden, & splitter) and wanted to increase my scoring & steals. Let me know if you think I got good value for Blatche.

i think u got the better end of the deal. blatche had that 20/10 spurt being their best offensive option. now they got arenas back and wall. he should be their 3rd option.
memphis NEEDS rudy to score 18-20pts for any chance at the playoffs. he'll always get steals.

Re: I got Rudy Gay for...
Thanks for the feedback. Btw, this is a H2H league but I think Rudy is still significantly better than Blatche in any format. I think Blatche still has some upside this year as the Wizards front court is not that deep or strong, so he'll get plenty of burn.
However, I think Gay should put up the best #'s of his career after getting his max contract. I think he'll have more license to shoot and be counted on to score at least 20/game. Blatche is a nice player all around but I think Rudy will fit my team perfectly as I'm a little weak at the SG/SF position and his scoring/steals will improve my two worst categories. I know at the very least that Gay will get more time as he averaged almost 40 min/game where Blatche was at 27+. Here's my squad after the trade:
PG
Stephen Curry
Brandon Jennings
Jameer Nelson
Jose Calderon
SG
Eric Gordon
JR Smith
SF
Rudy Gay
Dorrell Wright
Rasual Butler
PF
Tim Duncan
Drew Gooden
C
Brook Lopez
Andrea Bargnani
Tiago Splitter
I think I have a really nice, well-balanced team that doesn't have many weaknesses. I will have to punt TO's but I always do. I think my strengths are a ton of 3pt shooting, scoring, blocks, steals and good %'s. I can also compete in assists and rebounds as I have arguably the 2nd best players at PG and C (S. Curry/B. Lopez). I have nice depth at all of the positions and my big men are average to above average FT shooters for their position. I think Gay will be a great help in scoring that I was lacking. My wing players are still not elite by any means but all of my other players are talented scorers so they complement my lack of an elite wing player (which I now consider Gay to qualify as a star wing player for me).
Let me know what you guys think of my squad and if you see any tweaks I should try to make. I'm liking my squad and I think a lot of my players are on the verge of breakout years (S. Curry, B. Jennings, B. Lopez, Bargnani, D. Gooden, D. Wright, E. Gordon, JR Smith (if Melo gets traded), J. Nelson (if he can stay healthy)) so my squad should be even better than it looks on paper already. Btw, I had the 10th pick in the draft so I think I did pretty well.

ya they're not far off, but overall i'd go w/ rudy. they'll need blatche to develop and take a bunch of shots for a whole saeson, for experence and w/e else. usually in this situation i go with the guy who's on the worse team. but w/ arenas and wall, i dont think blatche will have a 20/10 year. rudy is always 20/6 and near 1 stl/blk/3

I agree. I think you did well because for some reason, this year there aren't that many good small forwards. AFter Lebron, Pierce, KD, Gerald Wallace and a few others, there's a pretty steep drop. Whereas there are still a lot of sleeper bigs you could draft - like Josh McRoberts, Dejuan Blair, and etc. They one thing I will say though, is that Tim Duncan worries me slightly. Popovich is talking like he's going to try to restrict TD's minutes even more. In that context, I think your Tiago Splitter pickup was super smart in case TD drops a bit in the 2nd half of the season ... good work!
