Per wiretape, Lions have extended Scheffler for 3 years. No money figures have been disclosed besides his $2 million signing bonus which covers his tender from becoming a RFA.
Great signing IMO. He and Pettigrew have been money at TE for us this year, especially with Shaun Hill in at QB. He's a hometown kid, a good player, a nice lockerroom guy and apparently didn't sign for too much to stick around and stick it out with us.
