SAC-DET Trade

Post#1 » by Blkbrd671 » Fri Oct 22, 2010 6:20 am

So i'm a Detroit fan, and we have a abundance of guards and SF's like you have of PF's and C's. What would BIGS would SAC be willing to trade for some of our guards. We'd be looking at J Thompson, Laundry, Dally or one of your Picks from last draft. just one of them

We both value our players higher than most, but be realistic. Stuckey, Gordon, Tay, Rip, CV, Max, JJ, Summers are all on the table. and T-mac's old a* too. picks as well are available.

Thanks for input

Lol @ Laundry!
If it weren't for our recent rash of injuries up front, I would probably give you Landry for either Stuckey or Gordon. (without knowledge of salaries)

Outside of Ben Gordon I don't see the value in trading with the Pistons. I have a thing of never trade a big for a small. Big men are overpaid and good ones are even harder to find. Just don't do it unless the small is that good.

I don't know if Ben Gordon is THAT good.

I'd like to see how this version of the Kings plays before I'm ready to make changes. Its kind of apparent we will be building around two guys. The rest of the team isn't set, but we have guys that can play. I just don't see a move with your team benefiting us right now. We still have to evaluate our own talent.

As of right now, I basically wouldn't do anything unless Cisco looks like he'll never fully be himself again. Then if Gordon is looking alright, I'd heavily consider packaging Cisco with maybe JT for him.

I think Daly for Tayshuan is super realistic. Maybe even an expanded deal with JT or Landry it either prove to be expendable. I'm interested to see if the Kings offer JT an extension to get him cheap, so far, I've heard nothing.

although Gordan would probably be a good fit next to Tyreke, i dont think he is good enough to justify his horrific contract 10-13 mil a year for the next 4 years so i think his value is almost negative. but i do think a landry for stuckey swap would definatley help both teams and while he might be similar to reke he would be so sick for the kings because he can handle the ball and hes got good size.
