It’s tiiiiime! Our third seasonal Minnesota Timberwolves +/-!

Image
......................*Large studio audience applause*..........................

As always anyone can join in on the fun at anytime and take their shot at being a winner. There is no long term commitment. Stop in and make a pick for one week, one game, or all season! It doesn’t matter.

This year we once again have an overturned roster. Big Al, Ryan Gomes, Sessions, and many other contributors of yesteryear are now gone. In their place we have players like Wesley Johnson and Nikola Pekovic. Which players will you ride to victory?

Last season’s winner was cpfsf who just edged out bast for the crown. Our first ever +/- champion was ALICEinJam. What does being a champion mean? It’s the player who has the most weekly wins out of any player at the end of the season. Will cpfsf or ALICEinJam take the crown again to become the first two time champ? Will basti get some redemption? Stick around to find out.

Some important information for those new to this game.

The Game: Playing the +/- game is simple. You pick any player before the game and you watch them play. Anything that player scores above his average gives you + points. Anything the player scores below his average give you - points. The goal is to have the most + points by the end of the week. Whoever has the most points by the end of the week is the weekly winner.

Example: You pick Al Jefferson and he goes off for 43 points. Since Big Al averages 10.5 PPG you would get +33 for that night. Conversely if Al played and got 1 point, you would get -9.

Important Rules and Guidelines:

-You can change your pick at anytime before the game*
*(You can not change your player if he is already started playing.)

-Numbers WILL NOT be rounded. If a player is averaging 19.9 PPG it will count as 19.

-If you pick a player and they do not play you get 0 points, you don't lose or gain anything.

-You can pick any number of "insurance" players if you are unsure if your player will play.

-Do not make your picks for the next days games until after the current game is finished.

-The Calrissian rule: This rule states that any player who is coming back from injury or newly signed and has yet to play a game and thus has zero points to their average, cannot be used until they have at least 3 games under their belt.

-You can not request one player for multiple games. Eg: You can't say "Give me Love for the week.

We have seen them play for a week. We have their averages. Now it's time to ask yourselves the question... Who ya got!?

Minnesota Timberwolves Who Ya Got!? HALL OF FAME
ALICEinJam (2008-2009 Champion)
cpfsf (2009-2010 Champion)

I'm either gonna win this week with the Beasley pick because he goes of for 40 or I'm gonna be last because he goes 1-17 from the field.

I was going to try and pick someone who hasn't been picked yet buy I just don't see it with the remainders so I'll go with Darko.

Lord, this is going to be ugly...

Michael Beasley, I'm convinced he'll put up points. I just don't know if it'll be productive points lol.

What are we doing for tiebreakers this year? I remember you could decide between two days worth of games. The problem with that is one person could pick a player for that day of NBA games and the second person could theoretically wait to see the results of his tiebreaking opponent, and decide whether or not he needs to make a pick.

Can't remember if we got that fixed toward the end of my Cindererella season, but just thought we could get that puppy clarified.
