Thought we could consolidate them in one thread, unless this dupes something that's already serving that purpose, in which case ..... do your duty

Here's my thought - if Sac really wants Rolo for Jason T, do it. We keep Frye and Siler at the 5 and then in the summer go after Marc Gasol, whom the Grizz are going to have a hard time paying

we will have some $$ from JRich expiring

thoughts?

I think Lopez's ceiling is only so high at the moment thanks to his lacking athleticism. I'd be fine with him for Thompson as well... Unless Lopez can turn around his train wreck of a pre-season/regular season.

I'd be pleasently surprised if we could get Gasol, although it's not out of the question. They also have Zach Randolph that they'll have to resign, and they've overpayed all their other people who were on cheap contracts.

At this point, it almost seems more worthwhile to let J-Rich just expire. I dont think we'll get anything but a cap crippling contract and a draft pick out of him so there's really no point to trade him. Extending him would be swell, but we've already got too many wings and he's getting up there in age. No point in holding onto someone when we've got a million other people to play his position and we could potentially sign some free agent big

We're the only team that runs a rotation with 1 starter and 1 backup for every single position. Most teams have a few guys who fills a couple positions. Joe Johnson plays SG and SF, Chris Anderson plays PF/C, Pau Gasol plays PF/C... It's done all the time everywhere but here

No way I would be fine trading RoLo. He would be better with a solid PF next to him. He is not a go to guy, but a guy that can in most cases, get the job done all around. You dont trade 7 footers, especially if they are young and have decent talent.

J Thompson would be nice, but I think he could be had for less than that. they dont need anymore bigs either.

You can get him for the TE with a pick. Or, we can trade Clark if they want a player. I personally would rather have them keep lopez and put Thompson at the PF spot

Does anyone else have interest in De-Andre Jordan? I would play him at PF alongside RoLo, giving up a massive frontcourt.

Then sign Sean motherfawkin Williams, he has some Amare in him and is a much better defender than Warrick.
