Way too small of a sample size to panic. He's 2-12 on 3-pointers; the best shooters in the world all go through short stretches worst than that. The Magic have only played 3 games, and they were all blowouts one way or the other, so he hasn't played as many minutes. Players like Lewis who rely on length and skill rather than athleticism typically age well and don't experience dramatic dropoffs from year to year. It's not like shooting ability suddenly fades. As long as Howard is in the middle, Lewis will plant himself behind the 3-point line and shoot around 40%. Look at his numbers the last couple of years, and that's pretty much what you'll get out of him this season.
