Advertisements with Music

I use Firefox with NoScript, but I turned it off for RealGM because the advertisements weren't a nuisance. However, the advertisements that play music in the top right corner of the screen are too much. When I'm on RealGM I'm usually listening to my own music, so I'd rather not hear whatever they are playing. Also, when I try to stop the music from playing it redirects me to a website. Now I know that there is a thread above addressing advertising issues, but it doesn't seem very active so I thought a new thread might get more attention.
