Not bad for your second post. I came in wondering why anyone would be happy that Green is starting again.

Don't get too excited. I mean wait at least a few more games. Matt Barnes killed us for god stakes. He's a great talent but I saw his game log and he has missed some time but he came out the closet vs. a team that allows it to happen. Hellova a game tonight for him, all the credit & respect, but don't jump the gun quite yet. Wait a few games.

Wait a few more games? Seriously? Wait a few more games?

Look man I have watched about 98% of Green's professional career. The dude should be the 6th man. He'd be a great 6th man and Ibaka should be starting. Green can do some nice thing offensively but he can't defend to save his life, at least not in the post, he's solid on the perimeter against guys his size or smaller. But trust me a few more games is not going to make his arms grow another 6 inches.

Ibaka had his worst game of the year tonight. Not a good game for his cause.

One game does not make a career. Nor does it break it.

But hey I'm all for having someone convince me on why Jeff Green deserves to start over Ibaka.

Sure Green is a better scorer but he can't defend a legit starting PF.

When the lights were brightest during the playoffs last season how'd Green play? How'd Ibaka play?

I don't care if Green matches up well against the GSW's of the league. I care how he matches up against the true contenders of the league. And typically it's not good.

I like Ibaka but defensively he still needs to improve. He lacks the sense to box out oppoents from time to time instead he still relies on his athletism for the reb (watch the game vs MIL when Gooden tips in many clutch rebs). Also he didn't do well on defending P&R situation.

I'm getting this feeling that you think that i want Green to start over ibaka...

Actually, i want ibaka to start over green. Green would be a beast as a 6th man. I just don't get all these people who just want us to let him go for nothing. Green has saved this team in clutch situations more than westbrook and durant combined.

I put value in players that just seem to find ways to win

Oh no, I don't want to let green go, I just want him to be our 6th man. Ibaka had a bad game yes that's true and he has a lot to work on. But his ceiling as a PF is waaaaaaaay higher than Uncle Jeff. I would never want to let Jeff Green go, then who would be our streaky 3 point shooter?

I think Green has a great knack for being "clutch", that is a great characteristic to have. I can find a spot for Robert Horry on my team. I don't want Green traded either or let go for nothing, people who simply want the dude gone don't see his value and don't understand that you simply can't afford to let assets walk for nothing in this league.

Really this comes down to Brooks. I do wonder if Brooks is afraid to bruise Green's ego by bringing him in off the bench?

This team would be shaped and way more rounded if Ibaka started and Green came in as the 6th man especially with Harden struggling.

I don't watch him. Just wasn't sure what you guys thought of him. Personally I don't like him, would have definitely kept Ray Allen over this clown. He's just not a fit on this team & should be traded for a decent big.
