Detroit have a young Center in Monroe.

Stuckey is 20 times the player Dragic is.

BG is 100 times the player Childress is.

Detroit have Prince/Daye/TMac at SF so how exactly is Childress a better fit if you don't mind me asking?

terrible, and Stucket is nowhere near 20 times the player Dragic is...I would not even think of trading Dragic for Stuckey...not even close. The primary reason DET has completely failed the last few season is because of trying to make Stuckey a PG, which he is terrible at. Horrible FG% and bad ball distribution. Dragic does very well with minutes and both scores and distributes affectively, and he is a proven big-time playoff performer, as well as the leader of his national team....You can keep Stuckey... no thanks. The deal is laughable regardless.

1. You can have more the one young big & I feel Lopez would be a great fit at center. Monroe can play some minutes at PF.

2. Stuckey is in for a big pay day soon. I don't think he's the future. We need a real PG who can make 3pts.

3. Gordon is just a bad fit for the Pistons. He needs to play in a system like the Suns. Childress is a better fit backing up Rip. He's taller backup and playes better D and look at his shooting%.

4. Childress would backup Rip. This is most likely Prince, Summers & T-mac's last year here so next year Childress could start or backup Daye.

You should watch Detroit and Stuckey play before you comment on them, Stuckey is more than 20 times the player Dragic is. Dragic showed flashes and that's it. Stuckey is a great player, not a pass first PG but he is a great combo guard who can easily start at PG, would be perfect if we had Ramon Sessions as our backup instead of Bynum.

Stuckey would be ideal in a 3 guards rotation with BG and Sessions imo.

BG 32 / Stuckey 16
Stuckey 18 / Sessions 30

You can replace Sessions with another medium/big more conventional PG.

Stuckey FG% is the same as Dragic FG%, his Assists/TO is A LOT Higher than Dragic's and he is also a much better defender and much better rebounder and FT shooter. He is basically better at absolutely everything compared to Dragic.

I will agree with this and disagree with everything else you posted :P I just don't think it's worth giving up BG and Stuckey for lesser players just to have 2 young bigs, we have one already, we don't desperately need a 2nd one, unless he is a dominant player and RoLo is not, he is a very good young big man with a lot of upside.

Comparing stats of a starter with a backup is laughable. I prefer Dragic over Stuckey. When Dragic starts for the Suns you will see why.

Wait...so being better than Goran Dragic makes you a great player nowadays?

Jeez man...I really don't care for either player, but saying Stuckey is a great player is pretty laughable. He is a mediocre point guard on a bad team - on a good team he's a backup combo guard. Nothing he does is great by any stretch of the imagination.

You can compare their PER or whatever kind of stats you want. Stuckey is 20 times the player Dragic is. Period. The numbers show that. Dragic is nothing, and saying you prefer Dragic over Stuckey is hilarious, even being a Phoenix fan.

It's the same as Portland fans saying Batum would start over Prince

Stuck is easily better than Dragic

I mean come on. 17 points/6 assists/3 boards on 43%FG, 87 from the line with a PER of 19. Stuck has quietly taken a big step in his development. He has both improved his midrange jumpshot & his passing. I know Pistons suck this year but do some research.

Pistons don't have a need for Robin Lopez when they have Greg Monroe

This is just a poorly thought out trade for Detroit. They trade a better PG and a better SG for a lesser swing in Childress, a lesser PG in Dragic and a backup C. Lopez is in his 3rd season and hasn't improved yet. I'd like him on the team but certainly not at this cost

I wouldn't mind having Lopez or Dragic but not at the price of Ben Gordon, Rodney Stuckey and 2nd round picks. PHX fans overrate Goran Dragic with what he has accomplished thus far. Detroit is looking a back-up PG, given Bynum's drop in production and Dragic makes a good back-up PG. Lopez is a starter on a bad team, a back-up on a good team.
For the first time in my life I realized that I was truly happy.......then I remembered I was drunk.

Man you are very misinformed. Dragic has only one mission until Nash retires: Backup. He has accomplished that just fine.

Suns should throw in Nash to make it more fair.
