Jordan, Bobcats after new PG

Post#1 » by chadmp2000 » Thu Dec 23, 2010 8:10 pm

Has anyone else seen the the Sam Amick article that says MJ is looking to deal Wallace and Augstine?

http://nba.fanhouse.com/2010/12/23/bobcats-michael-jordan-plots-next-move-in-wake-of-coaching-chan/

"League sources told FanHouse that the Bobcats and Portland have discussed a trade that would send beloved small forward Gerald Wallace to the Blazers with center DeSagana Diop and point guard D.J. Augustin in exchange for center Marcus Camby and point guard Andre Miller"

Portland has soured on the deal. What do you think of offering Beno, SammyD as a starting point for the same thing from the Bobcats?

Well.

I like the trade.

Big BUT though.

MJ on his championship teams had a PG with him named Randy Brown. Sounds like he wants more defense from his PG and C to go with his scoring SG/SF/PF there.

So likely Beno is not being considered.

Although MJ would probaly want Dalembert.

Dalembert straight up for DJ/Wallace does work. Also we could work in Luther Head for MJ. Or a 3 way to get back DJ/Wallace.

More fire-POWER!

That is very REALSTIC.

I don't think milwaukee is giving up on jennings simply because of an injury in his second season. but as far as the cats trade goes.....YES. salary wise, beno and sammy for dj, wallace and mohammed works almost perfectly. i dont follow the bobcats at all so i don't know if mohammed has any value to them. if he does it would likely be the deal breaker but just statictically the deal works.

There is no way CHA gives us Wallace and DJ for Dally. They would want waaaaaaaay more.

Green or Omri and Dally, along with Garcia's contract for DJ and Wallace. I'm sick of losing.

Like the idea of targeting Augustin, but don't see them looking to bringing back G. Wallace

There would be no need or reason to add any #1 draft pick at all !

If they send DJ out, obviously a PG comes in. If they're dealing with us, then Beno's the guy for them.

I would think that they would also want a Dalembert to go with him.

Beno, Sammy, Landry

for

DJ, Crash, Diaw

This saves the Cats a ton of money while remaining competitive. The Kings get a new lease on life.
