Rockets shopping everybody!! Houston fans express yourselfs

Im sure everyone has read the recent articles. I am not sure who this guy is that says he has heard every players name in trade disscusions, but i am not happy with this. we have a young, strong and talented group. In my mind all we need is an allstar center. I have always liked yao ming but he is hurting us. He is overpaid and often injured. The time is now to trade him while a team will agree for his expiring contract because more then likely he will retire. I have faith in brooks, martin, scola and our recent pick up terrence williams. Off the bench we have lowry, battier, hill, lee and miller. That is a really solid, starters and bench. Houston needs a young center with alot of potential, upside and denfensive post and shotblocking skills. One whom could start at center over brad miller and chuck hayes. In my mind if we got this kind of player then we would be finished making moves and the team would come together and there would be less stress in the team on whos leaving and whos staying. This post is about that player. I want for everyone to list 3 players whom they beleive could fill this spot in a trade with yao ming. we have picks and plenty of tallent to offer along with yao, we could get a superstar i beleive but i dont think that would help us. we have the stars already. we just need a real denfensive center. List 3 centers that are young that u like!! I am including a trade that was sucessfull in the trade checker that i like. let me know as well what u think about it.

Houston getting:
Carl Landry
Hassan Whiteside
Shaun livingston

Kings getting:
Gerald Wallace
Desagana Diop
Ishmael smith

Bobcats getting:
Yao ming
Jarred jeffries
Franciso garcia

Landry for expirings? yes, please. Atleast Landry adds something to our game.

ok so mabye we dont need landry back. he is just a really good player and if we could get him back for nothing then what the heck. livingston i could do without. how does the trade work then?

see i thought it was a great idea 2.. landry for expirings. i knew my original purposal was good, but some people just dont see the light.

Who on our team is so talented that's young not named Brooks, Lowry or hill? Also center is a position everyone is looking for. I don't even know 3 centers who we have a REAL shot at getting that could actually change our team and get us the shot blocker/post defender we need

nobody said we are desperate for landry.. you must not respect what he did here in houston.. he was a defensive post beast backing up scola. he can only make the team better.

He wasn't a "defensive post beast". What the hell are you talking about? He was an explosive scorer who always hustled. I like what he did for this team, but to give up valuable assets for someone who's going to be an UFA is stupid. If we're going to trade for a PF from Sac it's going to be Thompson not Landry.

if you cant name 3 young defensive centers that are sitting on other teams benches then you need to study.

Since when did you become a die-hard Rockets fan? Getting rid of Yao isn't a priority. Believe it or not he's still an asset even though he can't play.

valuable assets? i like the thompson idea. he is taller and younger then landry. thompson and whiteside for yao and jeffries. what do u think?

Yao's contract is an asset and Lee is a productive player on a dirt-cheap contract. Those are valuable assets.

I don't think that Sac will let go Whiteside. They also look like they're stacked on wings, but sure if we could pull that off why not?

i have been a houston rockets fan from birth. gettin rid of yao is the rite thing to do. i like yao dont get me wrong. he's a good mentor i agree, but i dont think he will ever play again. so while his value is high and other teams want the expiring contract we should make the move..

thompson and whiteside together make $3 million combined.
yao and jeffries make $23 million combined so it won't work at all.
without shedding some long term contracts (Beno, Garcia) there's no incentive for the Kings to make this deal.

I don't need to "study" anything. I can name lots of young centers that have the POTENTIAL to give us what we need. Not 1 of then is proven though. Whiteside is a perfect example
