We should really give Carter more than one game in the starting line up, right? Come on...

With the two recent losses and mention of harder practices and changing the defensive scheme, we sure as heck better win this game.

starting Vince over Dudley would be short sighted

A) Vince is a better player. Dudley playing the best games of his life in the past little while and they're only slightly better than an average night from Vince.
B) Benching Vince will lower his trade value and support the whole "Vince is done" sentiment around the NBA. Given your thoughts on Dudley, I assume you're hoping to get rid of Vince at the deadline, so for this reason alone starting Dudley would be short-sighted.
C) Vince has played 1 game, and despite rustiness, seemed to be a nice addition to the team. Wasn't bad defensively and adds new dimensions to the offense. Dudley is nothing more than a good role player.

VC wasn't the problem last game. He played a really good game, being his first with the team AND not playing for a bit. Nash wasn't the problem. Pietrus wasn't either. Gortat played pretty well, but I wasn't THAT impressed with his defense, he could be MUCH better. The problem was Dragic looking like a special needs child at the YMCA, Robin Lopez becoming a complete non-factor after picking up an IDIOTIC foul to get put on the bench, and basically everyone else besides Grant Hill playing with absolutely no fire (or any defense whatsoever).

It's funny... the Suns, during their contending years, never had many above average defenders, mostly poor 1-on-1 defenders, but they played better than average team defense. They now have a bunch of above average 1-on-1 defenders (some I'd even call great 1-on-1 defenders), but their team defense is completely just not there at all. That's something I blame on Gentry... I think he has good intentions with the defense, he just doesn't know how to make this defense work. For all the talk of "accountability", it's strange to see players playing with even less desire.

If we don't win I'm murdering my best friend, then drag him into the bath-tub to wash away the evidence with a chainsaw and some liquid acid.

You express a positive about Gortat but in Poland, recently, some peaple criticize him, his game and particulary his last statement about Suns's defence. I don't understand it, we can just criticize
