,,,barring injury.

he's had only five games of 10 or 11 boards since the november 19 and only two games of just 14

,,,and he never gets into foul trouble.

That would be awesome - but I think there will be some night when some ref (like Kenny Mauer) will put a stop to it by making sure Kevin's playing time is limited to the point that it can't happen.

He is very capable of doing it ......
I've been a fan since the beginning and I will be until my end.

He could, but he won't. It's just an odds thing. Something is bound to go wrong.

It's going to be harder for Love to get double-doubles once All Star Weekend is done because teams, especially playoff teams and teams that are chasing for a playoff spot will be playing much harder and will kick it up a notch.

Love is going to bring his game though and he might get another 15-20 more double doubles from this point on.

Probably not. However, so far this season he only has 5 games where he didn't get a dub-dub, and I believe the record for most dub-dub's in a season is KG's 71 in 03-04 (?). He might flirt with that record. If he went the rest of the season with only 5 games without a dub-dub, he'd set the new record.

EDIT: I have been trying to confirm that record for most double-doubles in an NBA season for like 15 minutes now, can't find any conclusive info. Does anyone know? Can anyone provide a link? I don't know why it's so hard to find some conclusive evidence. I wouldn't be too surprised if Wilt or Hakeem each had some seasons with close to 80, but I can't find any evidence. It would be good to know because that is probably a record Love will flirt with his whole career.

Wilt probably double-doubled for seasons straight, so I think Love has a ways to go.

His 71 point/rebound double-doubles are the most in the NBA since Hakeem Olajuwon recorded 72 in 1992-93...

here's a little perspective(from nbatv).

kluv already has three 30/20's. the last player to have three was olajuwon.
kluv has 20+ double/doubles in one half ~ ten players have done it JUST ONCE.

of course comparisons with other players mean little compared to the hard facts, but that's where kluv is relative to everyone else. it's not as if he's squeaking by with a bunch of 10's and 11's. 15 > 20, eh? wow, that's barely half the remainder of the season....most likely, you are saying he's going to get <10 rebounds in about 15 games!!! i believe i would take my scenario over yours :D :D :D
