Anyone Actually Starting to Like Leo?

Lately I've been admiring what Leo Rautins brings to the table more and more. I know he can sometimes be way too serious and never jokes, but why is that a bad thing? It's a job, the entertainment is to be brought from the players, right? To me, when I watch him on Raptorspace or post game or something, he ALWAYS seems to know what he's talking about. He's spot on pretty much all of the time. To me, he's not really annoying at all. I think I had some issues with him in calling games before but I forgot what they were - I think it was praising the other team too much.
However, the biggest issue is the Jack/Matt tandem lately, and here's where he comes in. Yes, I know that him and Matt probably have slight tension or little chemistry, and their broadcasting tends to be a little awkward, but it's much more tolerable for me. Jack and Matt, every single game, tend to go off about random garbage nobody cares about. Just last night they were talking about that Groomer or w/e baseball legend for like 10 straight minutes. They have a tendency to go off and talk about things completely unrelated to basketball, commercial advertising excluded.
So, is Leo more tolerable for you now? Are you slowly realizing how annoying the Matt/Jack tandem is?

No, Leo is nails on chalkboard and always will be. Matt and Jack are bored to tears watching this soft team go through the motions. Leo's actually using his gift of overstating the obvious to nauseating levels. I can't stand him and I shudder every time someone asks for his two cents "as a coach."

Leo is annoying as F()CK!
If player X takes a jumpshot, he'll say he should have drove to get himself in rhythm. If Player x on the next possession drives to the basket, he'll go he should have taken the wide open jumpshot ...
LEO IS F()CKING ANNOYING AS HELL TO LISTEN TO!! I'd rather listen to another homer ... Jack is the most knowledgeable nad best to listen to ... Matt is the awkward nerdy kid, whose sometimes funny by accident but he's not like Leo who bothers the f()ck out of people ...

Not a big fan of any of our broadcast team. I'd prefer Eric Smith doing the T.V games.

That actually brings up a theory I have. I think Leo is as good as gone as both a broadcaster and coach of the Canadian NT and he knows it and so he's just emptying the chamber on Bargs. I just can't see how Mo G would put up with it, and knowing that Mo G has a lot more influence than Leo in the NT program I just think there's something going on there.

I find that Leo seems the least reserved when it comes to calling out players... but still it's just brutal listening to him

Yeah Leo has been vocal when Bargnani has sucked while Jack has been much more diplomatic (other than yesterday's game).

it has something to do with the condescending, know-it-all attitude he has towards everything. Plus he uses the same phrases over and over again... I especially hate the bit he does about leaving your feet to contest a jumpshot.

I agree with the comments here about the Bargs bashing. I'm such a hater now, it's refreshing just to hear someone call him out on his awful play, even just a slight, politically correct amount.

I like any announcer that talks in place of Matt. He's brutal. He's got a great voice for commentary but the personality of a wall. Now this could be okay if he could put in some basketball expertise instead of personality but he doesn't know the sport that well. Also he's probably the single most socially awkward person on television.
I wouldn't have noticed any of this if we were playing decent basketball, but it hurts to focus on the team and it hurts to focus off the team now.
