Diaw and Kwame for Marvin Williams and Zaza
Hawks could use more post help so that Horford can play more PF. would this offer be good enough for Diaw and Kwame?

Re: CHA/ATL
what does marvin's contract look like? kinda kills our frontcourt. not really a move that helps us this year for sure, although zaza us decent.
marvin is such a waste of talent though.

It's an intruiging pair of trade partners. You want Kwame, not really Diaw right? I haven't had much of a look at the Hawks Roster. Kwame is >>>>> Collins though. He could easily start on a team that looks like this...
Bibby
Johnson
Smoove
Horford
Kwame
Diaw isn't really necessary though, he wouldn't do much for you that Smoove couldn't.
So why not something nice for Kwame?

Re: CHA/ATL
Doesn't do it for me.
Diaw > Marvin and - oddly enough - Kwame > Zaza (at least this year).
Diaw can stretch D's with his 3, facilitate the offense and play decent post defense. Kwame has been a bit of a revelation for us this year...so no. The pot would need to be sweetened considerably, but even so, I don't like the Bobcats with either Marvin or Zaza. They would be a poor fit for us.

4 years of 7 million.

How bout this. I don't really like it but it was all that looked good.
We give them Diop, Kwame, and Jackson. Get back Zaza, Jamal Crawford, and Etan Thomas.
No, I really don't like it even though we get rid of Diop.

agreed. Outside of ATL's big guns, I'm not a big fan of their roster.

Both Marvin and ZaZa have too much money coming their way IMO. WAY too much money.
Plus, this deal would leave us with no healthy PF's and ZaZa and Nazzy as our C rotation.
Puke!

Yeah, there's nobody on Atlanta's roster I would want except Horford - who is I'm sure as close to off limits as it's gonna get. Every other player you have has a poor contract or isn't an improvement for us. You just have more depth across the positions + Horford.

Re: CHA/ATL
No. Kwame would be great for the Hawks on the defensive end and it would benefit the Hawks to allow them to play Horford at the PF and Smith at the SF. Then Diaw can help the team in so many ways coming off the bench. However, I'm trying to see the value for the Bobcats in Zaza and taking on Marvin Williams contract. We would definitely need to trade Crash or SJack for something good because if you are paying what you are for Marvin, he needs to be a quality starter.
Kwame Brown is servicable, get over it.
