At this point, Williams and Johnson are going to be FA's. I don't know if we'll resign both (I think Williams is unlikely) but you can't fault them for picking Kalil.

Williams was given the type of Tag where we get a 1st and a 3rd if someone wants to sign him. That would be fine with me if they do that, as I want to keep him but would gladly see him walk for a 1st and a 3rd.

I think Williams will walk - but we will keep Stewart who is still a top flight RB when healthy which is why Kalil is vital to help make sure he does stay fit.

Plus keeping Kalil will be important if the Panthers stick with Clausen let them build a rapport ala Peyton Manning and Jeff Saturday. It will be even more important if they bring in Newton, so that he will have a pro bowl calibre veteran to work with.
