Ralph & the Redhead - Back in the day B4 a San Diego Clipper game.

This might have been Kareem's Last game at the old Sports Arena - 4/15/89. I think I was making some sort of presentation to him.

Ralph and his wife Jo are greeted by Mike Smith, Bill Walton and 2 members of the Clippers Spirit to celebrate 2500 broadcasts as a Clipper announcer.
The man is the Clippers. Even though the team's history has been dimly lit for many years, he has served as the bright spot for many Clipper faithful. I don't think I could have made it watching this team over the years if it wasn't for him. The rest of the country may not know, but we've been blessed with a true gem. My happiest moment as a fan was to get see him call our games in the 2006 playoffs as the favored team.
I would love to see him call 2500 more games, but even if he doesn't, I will enjoy every single game that he will call. I hope that he gets the opportunity to see us hang a few banners, be selected to the hall of fame and have his own microphone hoisted to the rafters. There is nobody more deserving.

Thanks Ralph!
