Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
I missed the opening part, but I'm guessing Beno is hurt in some way.
On one hand, I want to say that we're not playing well--just shooting well. But we have an improved shooting team, so I guess this is what happens.

Beno's got the flu.
Nice to see Westphal finally put Cousins on Dwight. Cousins will be a top notch post defender for years to come if he works hard and plays within himself and doesn't try to steal the ball every time.

Head is a joke, getting techs and running to the line to brick tech free throws.
Cousins is synonymous with dominance.

Know a cool trick? Watch a Kings game with people who don't watch that many and just say "Ugly shot" when Dalembert gets the ball in the post and watch them be amazed by your psychic abilities.

It feels like we've played so well in this quarter, and yet, we've been outscored so far.

Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
Thornton needs more touches, ESPECIALLY when Cousins is out. He's the only one who can create his own offense.

Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
very nifty effort tonight. here's to avoiding another signature fourth quarter meltdown!
and yes, with evans out, we would be blown out every night if we didn't trade for thornton. the man has exceeded expectations. thank you david st...i mean new orleans

Whats up with these Royals' Jerseys? I don't like seeing them, I like them, but I don't like seeing them.
I'm really paranoid right now.
We're in the middle of possibly losing our team - and the Malloofs have been using these Royals' jerseys for just about every home game now. What does this mean?!

Ugh...we could so easily not have Head in the game right now.
Come on! Put not Head in!

Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
Dalembert is honestly having the most annoying game I've seen him play in a long time. He can't catch anything, takes bad shots, and he isn't playing good defense on Howard.

Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
I feel like Luther Head is the guard version of Dalembert. Good defender, but will drive you absolutely insane on offense with his terrible decisionmaking, doing things he can't, and whenever he gets the ball it just sticks to his hand killing ball movement.

Re: Orlando Magic in Town for the Night
Don't agree with Westphal taking out Cousins here, the offense is putrid w/o him.
I also wish that he knew how to use rotations properly, somebody get him some tape of Rick Adelman. Take Cousins or Thornton out with 1-2 minutes left to go in the 3rd and put them back in at about 2-3 minutes into the 4th. It's one of the most common rotations coaches use for their best players, too often he gets his best players the rest they need at the most crucial time of the game.
