It's Not Joe It's the Coach AKA Larry Threw, His Offense..IF you notice This offense we run is design for Our Big men Josh and Al..which is why joe rarely scores over 15pts and why Offensive scorer Crawford has scored 14pts,0pts,2pts,4pts and Now 10pts last night..Theres been a few games recently where crawford only shot 5 times or less. Sorry But Mike woodson Knew how to get Our main scorers Going now it seems Anyone can be the leading scorer meaning Za Za or wilkens Were on our way out the 1st round if This continues..

It's the players. They gave up on Woodson last year because they no longer believed in his philosophy. When they decided that Drew is going the same route (just with a different name), they gave up on him, as well. This is a team saying, "What's the use?"

Well it's more on the players now as it seems they have given up now, but early it was Drew's system. The system moves the Bigs more towards the perimeter instead of the basket. This would work alot better if Josh hit more consistently or if Al and Marvin would cut more often towards Joe when he gets doubled off penetration. When Joe goes ISO someone should be coming back door or slicing down the lane. Marvin goes back door sometimes, but just doesn't finish or get the foul like he should. Childress was actually good at doing such things.

The majority of the responsibility always goes to the players....but Drew is an awful coach. The Hawks 2 advantages were athleticism and continuity but Drew has negated both of those.

I agree with everything you just said. it is the players. they don't help Joe when he is doubled teamed. when marvin does cut to the basket JJ almost always find him and gives the ball where he can finish. sometimes he does most of the time he doesn't go strong enough and gets fouled and misses or just flat out misses if someone just runs at him. Horford and Smith never cut to the basket, they just stand there waiting on Joe to find them.
