I do not care anymore. The steroid era is the past and it's over. This whole thing does not matter to me anymore everyone knows he took them.
Baseball has come such a long way since steroids were banned in the 2004. The game I think is making a bit of a comeback. We really can see what steroids actually did to the game. Homeruns and scoring is down. Really took a hit around 2007 when a lot of the cheaters bodies eventually got down to normal size. Look what happened last year for pitchers for goodness sake.
I mean we're not going back to the dead ball era, but I think there's a lot more balance in the game. Look at all the teams that have won the past 10 years - compelte parity: Diamondbacks, Angels, Marlins, Red Sox, White Sox, Cardinals, Red Sox, Phillies, Yankees, Giants. Strides are being made to improve the game quality and umpiring. I like the fact this year they started the season on time in order to make sure there is no November World Series. I used to hate Bud Selig, he really messed up not catching this steroids thing earlier but I think he rebounded nicely is doing a good job since. The game is as good as it ever been, imo.
