The Thunder inked Vaden as the 15th man but kept him with the 66ers by immediately assigning him to Tulsa. The 66ers made the second round of the NBA D-League playoffs, but expect to see Vaden in a Thunder uniform at the conclusion of the D-League playoffs.
He was signed as our 15th man and then reassigned to the Tulsa 66's.
He is a 6-5, SG, 205, 26 years old. He is a good 3-point shooter.
Has anyone seen him play? What is his future. Daequan Cook will be a free agent next year too.

Saw him in the summer league, not really impressed. I dont think he's that good of a shooter and he isnt that mobile. I think Presti wants to help him out financially, he does that every year (see Mustafa Shakur last year.

Re: Robert Vaden signed then reassigned
I was confused by the signing at first, but then I saw a poster on DailyThunder explain that Vaden has the same agent as Ibaka, Maynor, and Mullens. Presti and the higher ups probably signed Vaden as a token of gratitude to that agent. I don't care about Mullens, but if this is what it takes to get Ibaka (and Maynor) to resign here, I'm all for it.
