First, a story. I had a press pass for the Blackhawks game last night, and it was ridiculously awesome. This will not be a whiney thread, it will be a thread in which I brag at the fact that I nearly ran over Michael Wilbon.

This team somehow clobbered Roy Halladay* and had their issues with Joe Blanton, so Lord knows what will happen against Cliff Lee. Chris Narveson starts.

My lame ass game threads have worked so far. Maybe this one will be graced by a maid by tomorrow evening.

*I didn't see a single second of the game, so I might be off here.

1. That's the extent of your bragging?

2. You couldn't finish the job? :)

I don't know Plush's status but I imagine he gets another day off and with the off day tomorrow hopefully he's ready to go for the Astros. Hawkins could get activated this morning.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Usually the Wednesday home games aren't. A lot of the away ones are.

Even if the crew can't pull this one out today you have to be happy with what they have done in two games vs philly! who would have thought...Lowest ERA in the NL, keep up the good work boys! Bats stay hot too..

In recent years they have started broadcasting more weekday games. It used to be they would never televise a weekday game, home or away, other than opening day.

Right, but now that they only don't broadcast ~10, I'd say that 7 or 8 of those are home weekday games.
