OT-Warren Sapp on hits: "We need to take care of each other"

Post#1 » by jakecronus8 » Sat May 28, 2011 12:29 am

Too funny to not post. From the wiretap

ESPN Rumors - If Steelers linebackers James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley don't like the NFL's new rules, Warren Sapp believes it may be time for them to find a new job.

"The players in this game now, we must take care of each other -- that's the biggest thing," said Sapp, a former defender and current NFL Network analyst.

Sapp said that when he played for the Buccaneers and Raiders, players in the league:

"took care of each other, and that's what this is all about -- taking care of the game, taking care of each other. And if James Harrison and LaMarr Woodley don't see this, then maybe they need to leave the game. Because the game's gonna be here a long time after you, and it's been here a long time before you. So either get on the train or get off.

I like Sapp and I hate him all at the same time. If he had been a Packer, he would be a legend we would have all loved. But since he was a Buc and took the shot on a Packer, I kind of hate him. Not completely but mostly. If he did that too a player on another team besides our own, I would probably care less. So overall, I think he is a hypocrite but can be entertaining at times and yet an **** at times, haha.

I was always entertained by the Favre-Sapp rivalry, but once he took that cheap shot on Clifton I lost all respect for him. Great player, just an idiot.

Except for, Charles Barkley is intelligent and witty, and Warren is an ignorant taint
