He isn't as athletic (as when Kobe first came into the league), but he is more of a pure shooter. Reminds me of a much slimmer Paul Pierce.

lol. He's been compared to everyone from Pierce, Bryant and yes even Jordan. The hype is definitely helping Brooks right now. He's a good prospect but I see him as having a limited ceiling.

He reminds me of a less explosive Tracy McGrady.

Brooks does not impress me ... he's nowhere near as athletic as a Kobe or T-Mac and isn't as strong or big as Pierce.

He reminds me of Jaron Rush or Dionte Christmas ... nothing special. I'd be cool with him as a backup for Mamba though.

I do have a question though ... is this the only kid in the world that is listed as "shorter" than his real height? Kobe is 6'6 and this kid looks way taller on film than Kobe but is listed at just 6'5"?

That's how a 40-yr old retired Kobe Bryant would look like

^DeRozan is a bad, bad boy ... but ... don't bet on him ever reaching Kobe's level ... he reminds me of a Latrell Sprewell.

I'd love to draft him. I see some Kobe in him. Put him in the gym and under Kobe's wing and this guy will be a monster off of second-hand swag alone.

I definitely see some Kobe in him. If you blur your eyes while watching the video you'd almost bet on it being the Black Mamba. However, his speed and athleticism is similar to today's Kobe, rather than a young Kobe.
