Subject says it all. Are we going to have a long one like the NFL or just cancel the entire season? What will it do to the players/owners/coaches/fans?

The NBA is coming off of so much momentum from everything from the 2008 Redeem Team, a hugely-rated 2010 NBA 7-game Finals between Boston/LA, the Decision and all the hoopla surrounding Miami, New York, and Chicago, then finally to a hugely-rated 2011 Finals. Even the 2011 Draft had the best ratings in over 15 years despite being trashed for not having any stars.
I have to figure eventually, one side will budge a little. Stern, Hunter and Fisher seem too smart to know that they're putting a lot of that momentum in jeopardy.
