Spyware on RealGM?

I get a weird message on my home computer every once in a while when I log in saying my user information cannot be found. When I log off and re-log in it works fine. Now, at work I am getting the same error message. The IT guys at work think it's very strange and say that it must be spyware. I was thinking about how my use is similar at home and at work and the only things I can think of are IMDB, realgm, gmail, and facebook. Is realgm the culprit? Anyone else have similar issues?
