Which Cap Logo?

So next week, Alomar will be inducted into the Hall of Fame - wearing a Jays cap. (so exciting!)

Does anybody know if the cap will have the early-90s Jays logo, or the current one? What have other teams that changed their logo since the player left done?

Actually, what was our logo when Alomar retired? We may have changed it while he was still in baseball (if that makes a difference?)

Anybody have any ideas?

1977-1996 was the old logo.

Which means his entire time with us was wearing the old logo, but about 50% of his time in the league we had the new one.

I guess we'll find out Sunday?

Very likely he goes in with the cap logo circa his playing days.

BTW I love the fact the player doesn't get to pick his team anymore. No B.S. like Boggs wanting to go in as a Ray because he had a falling out with the Red Sox. Or Dave Winfield going in as a Padre to spite Steinbrenner (not saying that Steinbrenner didn't deserve it).

I was thinking the same thing. In previous years, minus Andre Dawson, is there any pics or does anyone know if they wear current, or the cap style of when they played?

I would think for Team Marketing, they would want the current style because people who don't watch the Jays on TV will be all seeing this whether live or highlights.
