Cool article about Hechavarria

Haven't seen many articles about him. This one is from the New Hampshire Union Leader.

Growing up in Cuba, Adeiny Hechavarria played baseball in the streets, usually barehanded, because there weren't many leather gloves in the neighborhood. When he and his friends needed a bat, it was common to use a machete to hack away at tree branches with the right thickness, he said.

Alot of people talk about Escobar moving to 2B for Hechavarria to play SS..... i say move Hech to 2B now cause Escobar is a keeper at SS. No need to experiment with a good thing already going. Hech has very good defense but his offense is very bad. Escobar is better in all categories and probably just as good on defense too. So unless Jays think Hech will be a gold glove candidate at SS, keep Escobar there.

*** Hech was best to sign with Yankees for personal reasons. Well thats what id do, if i was him. I mean Jeter will retire about when Hech is ready to join the MLB so it would make sense for him, plus Yankees would guarantee him alot that JAYS cant. I dont buy the Yankees wanting to move him to 2B before he even signed at all, Cano is the 2B for the decade, period....................

im glad JAYS got him though, depth is everything. Anything can happen at any time.
