Well obviously these are "rumored" trades that almost happened for Roy Halladay, I mean there is no way to be certain they r true unless u r AA, but these are rumors that were actually being reported on radio and reputable websites.
What are some of the supported rumored trades for Halladay that you would have preferred over what we eventually got..... not ur fantasy trade but trades that were talked about... Here are some:
--------------------------------------------------------
LA Angels for Roy Halladay
- Jared Weaver or Ervin Santana & and a young SS, (maybe Ayber, i dunno)
Boston for Roy Halladay
- Clay Buchholz & Casey Kelly (prospect)
NY-Yankees for Roy Halladay
- Phil Hughes or Jaba Chamberlain & prospects
any more?

If I'm not mistaken, Casey Kelly was considered untouchable along with Daniel Bard. Boston offered Buckholz with Lars Anderson and I forgot the 3rd dude.
Want: Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., DeAndre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr, Marvin Bagley III, Mohamad Bamba, Shai Gilgeous- Alexander, Elie Okobo, Jevon Carter

thanks for clearing it up... i mean they are just rumors, so only AA knows the truth. I just said what i heard.
also:
Texas Rangers:
- JP Ricciardi rejected the Texas Rangers from getting Halladay, because he wanted all discussion to start with Derek Holland. Texas refused and the deal dead. However, it was rumored that the wanted Halladay bad and had the prspects to make a deal.
LA Dodgers:
- AA rejected the Dodgers because he wanted all discussions to start with Clayton Kershaw, but the Dodgers didnt bit and all talks ended there.

Weaver would've been nice, but I think we took the right package. And if it was Saunders we absolutely took the right package, then.
-Wallace flipped for Gose. Gose looking real good, Wallace not.
-D'Arnaud looking real good
-Drabek has the capability to be a very good starter
-Were able to acquire Escobar, where, had we acquired Aybar with Weaver, may not have. Indirect, but another positive.
That's an elite SS, and a potential elite C, CF, SP.
The Yankees and Red Sox trades both blow massive penis (is that word not censored? I didn't manipulate anything). Not to mention that Halladay would, you know, be pitching for the Yankees or Red Sox every 5th day.

Halladay nixed the Rangers deal (he had a NTC). Dodgers had a **** offer on the table (Billingsley and crap).

Why are we going over a deal long done and discussed?
