Hypothetical team name poll

Let's assume that the Hornets get bought by a Seattle group and become the Sonics or move to Vancouver and get rebranded. The Hornet name will be on the open market. Would you have any interest in bringing the name back to Charlotte or in rebranding the Bobcats altogether?

I like the Bobcats name. It's nice. The Hornets history doesn't belong to this organization, the city maybe but not the organization. It'd feel like a lie.

I like Bobcats, but I voted to go back to the Hornets. Kinda like to go back to the roots of what we had with Zo and LJ. Back then we were a good team and had sell out after sell out. We were a real threat. Just would be neat to go back and take what was originally ours.

Of course, it this economy continues to suck, we might see England take the same idea and expand upon it and offer to buy America and make it a Colony again. Then Spain and England can fight over us. But hey, if they give every American family a cool million as part of the deal, they can call me English all day long.

Bobcats definitely, We are not the Hornets lol.

If not the Bobcats then the Swagcats obviously.

^ wouldn't mind dropping Bob and going plain 'Cats (in nod to MJ replacing BJ).

No but it wasn't even plausible enough to imagine someone saying it in earnest (which would have made it funnier, a la "Obama is a pansy muslim socialist cyborg").

Charlotte Cats is just a bit too plain for a team thats got as much swag as us,

Maybe the Queen City Cats has a little more flavour??
