RB who Catch

Post#1 » by LApwnd » Thu Sep 15, 2011 4:36 pm

are these the new trend now? I've only played fantasy football for 2yrs but its only apparent to me this year that the RB who are also options on the pass is much better option in terms of fantasy points anyways and they seem to be the most consistent. I mean honestly I think Forte while only rushing for 1000yds last year probably will score more then a pure RB like Peterson who doesn't catch much. Unfortunately for me NON of my RB seem to be an option for the pass, I have Mendy/Blunt/Wells :(.

It depends on the league format. PPR it means a lot more because they're getting a point for every catch obviously. More then that though if a back is a good runner and pass catcher they are going to be on the field for more packages and snaps since they can help their team move the chains in multiple ways this puts them in more of a feathure back role that cant help your guy stay away from a time share. This is why the top rated RB's are guys who have good hands other then AP. Foster, Charles, Rice, McCoy are all skilled in that respect.
