ATL / NJ / CHI

Post#1 » by tbhawksfan » Fri Sep 16, 2011 7:00 pm

Josh Smith / Pachulia / Jamal Crawford

for

Lopez / Humphries / Asik

ATL finally gets BIG and maybe very good.

Lopez / Humphries

for

Smith / Korver / Pachulia

Get A very talented and still young SF PF to help lure DH in. A little depth on short contracts too

Korver / Asik

for

Jamal Crawford

Get a scoring punch for the backcourt without getting any main players

Awful for NJ.
Lopez is only being traded a. for Dwight or b. packaged with Outlaw for a high caliber player.
Take out Hump, add Outlaw + Petro and we're talking.

Is a F/A Jamal Crawford really worth giving up anything for in a S&T? He'll get more money in the S&T than he would in F/A

Did I forget to add that 2012 first to NJ...?

Crawford might be signed to a fairly reasonable 3. He's got a couple of years of solid scoring production left at least.

Hawks are only willing to trade Smith for a Center. If we were to trade for Asik (and I'd love to), then we'd have no need of trading Smith.

The Hawks would do the above part and stop.

Where do we sign?

Bulls could just sign Crawford to the MLE

Meh, I wouldn't want to give up Asik for Jamal. UFA and getting a little up there in age, and seems like the one guy that's going to get overpaid this offseason, whenever it is.

FYI- We Bulls are very high on Mister Omar Asik -AKA- "The Tukish Hammer" -AKA- "Asik & Destroy"

And Jamal Crawford... "Been there, Done that"

So, Atlanta has a three-big rotation of Horford, Lopez and Hump. Very nice, but I can't see any of them being content coming off of the bench. Hump is likely convinced that he's a starter, and some team is likely going to let him start. Not sure why he'd sign off on this deal.

What team is so desperate they'd offer humprhies a starting spot? Theres no way he should expect to start, because no team is going to give it to him. He should be be very happy to get the MLE equivalent in the new CBA and coming off the bench for a decent team.

The Bulls could sign Jamal Crawford outright without having to give up Asik.

Why would they do this deal?

Um, they really can't.

Um, if there is any semblance of an MLE, they can make a competitive bid. If not, they can live without Jamal, and still go for one of the cost-effective FA SG options (Reggie Williams, Sonny Weems etc.).

Sonny Weems won't be available until the 2012-2013 season as his contract with Lithuania team is guaranteed for the full year.
