Great
graph over at Advanced NFL Stats. They have live Win Probability graphs throughout every game. When the Skins had Dallas at 3rd & 21 from the Cowboys 30 with 2:20 on the clock, the Skins had a Win Probability of 0.87. In other words, an 87% chance of winning. When the play ended, their Win Probability was 0.24.
That was a terrible call, which was compounded by the fact that DeAngelo Hall doesn't actually cover all that well.
Skins should have won that game against an injury-depleted Cowboys team that literally couldn't line up properly, run the proper routes or successfully snap the ball in shotgun.
