I will not be purchasing this game. Don't know about anyone else, but to me it looks the same as 2k11 with more classic teams. I just created the rookies and assigned them to their teams and will play 2k11 for at least another year.

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

The same reason I hate Call of Duty, huh?

There's a lot of improvement to the game. The motions are even more fluid. There are way more options (customizing your own jumpshot). My Player mode is way more detailed.

Anyways, anyone tried playing association mode? One of the deals I got for Steve Nash and Grant Hill is Rudy Gay and a future first.

I'm usually this way with all my games, unless they're RPGs. Besides, more to look forward to in 2k13 :D

Placed my order today (I don't think the game comes out retail here until Friday). Looking forward to spending too much time with this game.

Picked it up yesterday, only got a chance to play one game but I actually do notice a difference in the motions/flow of the game. So from my limited exposure I already think gameplay is improved.

I hear My Player is much improved, but haven't tested it yet.

Anyone know if the 2K network is back up? It was down all of last night. Apparently 2K Games can't legally unlock the rookies until the lockout is over so I want to find a 2K Share roster where someone created the rookie class!

I played the hell out of 2k11 My Player and will eventually get 2k12 for the same reason. However, with the lockout still in effect and the rookies missing, I'll wait for it to end (or for a discounted price) before I immerse myself into it.

I could never get used to the controls in 2k11 as I did with 2k9... don't know why. I'll try 2k12 and see what happens.

I played 1 game after work yesterday; looks fine, team def improved :) Scored 151 pts with Suns against NOLA :) Trade market still horrible, Childress & Warrick accepted for Redd's expiring & pick...
Offense wins games, Defense wins championships...

I started a new myplayer after thinking I should be "athletic" rather than "scoring"

Drafted by the Knicks - who then traded amare for Zach Randolph, melo for gay and Conley and billups for Westbrook in the first month haha

So I demanded a trade to the suns and got it

Started an association letting staff handle trades and moves just to see what they would do right now, so far:

- Resigned Hill
- Traded Nash for Conley and Tony Allen

Sucks to have 0 players above the 80 overall mark.

It's nice this year. Especially on PC where I got it legally for $20.

I am about 6 games into my association and liking it so far, might start a my player tonight seen as how you guys seem to be liking it.

P.S - Could of Done Carter/Childress/Siler for Bogut/Steven Jackson. Was tempted figured no, thats a little bit too easy haha.

In My Player, after my man Terry Owens was traded to OKC (for Harden), they traded Durant and Perkins for Carmelo Anthony and Landry Fields.

*facepalm*

Trade demanded. Got traded to PHX. PHX traded Steve Nash for my man; Marcin Gortat and Grant Hill for Mo Williams and DeAndre Jordan. Immediately starting at PF.

And we're still starting Channing f---ing Frye at center... WTF?

Will probably pick this game up soon. I like that they added Steve Kerr to the booth. Now next year they just need to phase out Kellogg completely.

I'm playing a season with only the additions of Raja Bell and Al Jefferson ( Vince, Pietrus and Lopez out), and the team is playing good enough to be considered a solid playoff team. This is a video game, but probably can work for real.

just got traded to the heat FUUUUUU!

one thing I hate is how many trades the team im playing on has

in my first year the suns ended up with david lee, greg oden, matt barnes, mo williams, richard jefferson, marvin williams and chris anderson???

meanwhile other teams stayed very similar, maybe one move for each team

its stupid, and happens on every team I go to (tho i havent been on the heat long, I look forward to seeing what they do.... though after 2 games they already traded chalmers and jones for okur and kirilenko!

I got drafted by the Bucks, and then they traded away Jennings for Greg Munroe and Tayshaun Prince so I could start. We're now on a 7 game win streak.

How is the My Player mode? How high can you go in the draft and what overall rating can you get prior to being drafted?
