Curry to Raiders for 2012 7th and 2013 4th or 5th

Seattle will receive a seventh-round pick in 2012 and a mid-round conditional pick (fourth or fifth round) in 2013 based on Curry's playing time with Oakland, a source told ESPN senior NFL analyst Chris Mortensen.

Right on, I'll be rooting for him to play enough for a 4th

Wow! A 7th round pick, and maybe a 4th round pick for a player chosen #4 in the draft. Another Ruskell disappointment and/or bust of a high draft pick to go along with the likes of Kelly Jennings, Lawrence Jackson, and Chris Spencer.

I'm glad that guy's gone. Our new personnel management team has done so much better than Ruskell, drafting the likes of Okung, Earl Thomas, James Carpenter, and John Moffitt in the higher rounds the last two years, and the likes of KJ Wright, Kam Chancellor, Walter Thurmond, Anthony McCoy, and Kris Durham in the mid and later rounds of the draft the last two years.

Agreed. The pick[s] may not be all that sexy, but at least our front office has shown an affinity for grabbing talent in the later rounds [or even AFTER the later rounds]. Small sample size alert, but PC/JS later round picks/UDFAs have netted more impact players for this team than Ruskell's first round picks. That's disgusting but apparently true.

Who was more disastrous, Bill Bavasi or Tim Ruskell? Pretty crazy that we have had such terrible management in our sports teams. At one point we had Bavasi, Ruskell, and Wally Walker all at the same time.

So now the rams got Lloyd for a 6th... I'd say we scored with a 7 and a 5th/4th for a battering ram with no arms
