The Winnipeg Jets will be without one of their best defenceman for the foreseeable future.

Jets head coach Claude Noel told TSN Radio 1290 on Thursday that Tobias Enstrom has a broken collar bone and will be out indefinitely.

Earlier in the day, the club added Mark Flood and Brett Festerling from the AHL's St. John's Ice Caps.


Hugh blow for you guys. Losing a defenseman of his caliber is really going to hurt.

Yup. Toby's the guy who covers up all of Byfuglien's mistakes, so losing him is huge. Hopefully Bogosian steps it up. Festerling didn't look too bad last night either. Thank goodness the Jets have decent depth in terms of defensemen. We still have Postma and Kulda down in St. John's too.
