Godgers.

This team reminds me a lot of the 16-0 Patriots team.

We have a bad defense. The lack of Collins directing this in the backfield is killing 'em.

That said, we've got an insane offense. I'll take it.

I haven't had any nerves until the very end of these games.

However, I'll be sweating and crying the entire playoffs if we try to go 19-0. The pain of a loss in the playoffs after 16-0 would be brutal.

We made it way more difficult than it had to be, but I can't complain. 8-0.

What worries me is that we put up 45 because Godgers was Godgers and the receivers made some great catches. The Chargers scored 38 because dudes were running wide open all day. It was so much easier for the Chargers. None of their plays really wowed me except in the sense that my jaw dropped at how much our secondary suddenly sucks ass. Lack of pressure doesn't help although Clay finally came alive in the 4th.

Let's just hope our secondary is on the same page and clicking by the time we hit the playoffs.

It's not like the defense wasn't getting lit up with Collins in the lineup. His loss hurts the team, but so did Jenkins', Woodson aging, Matthews and the rush OLB's drop off in play, etc.

Speaking just about Jenkins, he was a very under-appreciated player in Packerland. The last time he was omitted from the defense was back in '08 when the unit finished 22nd in the league and blew nearly every close game that year. He got in the backfield a lot and occupied defenders so Matthews and the rush OLB's could make plays.

Capers needs to call the same game when we're up 21 as he does when we're up 7.

I pretty much agree with Bern here. Our problem in the passing game is the pass rush. We haven't been able to create nearly any pressure without sending extra players. We do not have an effective defensive line against the pass.

That Lions games is gonna be scary. Calvin is gonna get 20+ TDs. But Rodgers will throw for 21 including one to MM.

Us getting exposed on huge plays because of the lack of over the top safety help has everything to do with Nick Collins being hurt.

Time to start rooting against the other front runners in our conference so we can clinch a 1st round bye early. Giants, Lions, Saints, and Niners need to take some Ls.

The NFL is the Matrix and Aaron Rodgers is Neo. Can't wait for 9-0.
