What is the best DRAFT position ?

Post#1 » by kevinyenet » Mon Dec 12, 2011 2:17 am

Hi,12-team-14-player-roto-league-8-cat-looking-for-advices

We have a predetermined draft postion, snack draft, I have the 12th pick. I am offer either the 1st pick or the 7th pick postion.

What is a good pick this year? Getting 1st will guarantee LBJ or Durant….

and 7th picks of course …Westbrook, Love etc

Please give advices and reasons…:)) Thanks alot!

Field Goal Percentage (FG%), Free Throw Percentage (FT%), 3-point Shots Made (3PTM), Points Scored (PTS), Total Rebounds (REB), Assists (AST), Steals (ST), Blocked Shots (BLK)

Thanks alot Apathy for your reply.

To clarify, I currently have the 12th of 12th in a snake draft position.

We are allowed to trade draft position prior to draft

The owner of the 1st wanna trade draft position with me.

Do you have an opinion what draft position is best for a 12 team leaque for 2012?

Thanks for the reply AlciG,

Who do you think I should target around 24, 25? If I get LBJ first

Any opinion is welcome

draft position is irrelevent IMO. don't make any trades. just research.

i'll answer your question in more detail in a day or so, as i've still a lot of research to do. but you should at least have an idea of who you want and why... after all, fantasy basketball is about fun and learning. it's lame to just take other people's advice without any input of your own

In a 12 teamer I really like drafting from the middle. Last night I found out that I drew pick #7/12 teams in my points league. While you don't get the big guy(LBJ, Durant) from here, your picks are 11 and 13 apart, which is ideal from my point of view. I'll take whoever falls out of LBJ/Durant/Love/Rose/Howard/Paul/Wade. Round 2 I'd hope Griffin would fall to pick18, but Aldridge Melo/Amare/Ellis/Kobe should find one of them available.

I picked 7th and got Rose and then Blake. He doesn't usually last past the 20th. If it was the 8th I'd say go with the #1. I think 6th or 7th is the best over all pick.
