What do you expect from Kirk Hinrich? What is a acceptable contribution from Kirk Hinrich?

Well, listen Kirk is a important figure to our success no matter how you put it. If he comes back and does well on the court that will be great being that he can play both guard positions and would be really good as a bench player because of that, but Kirk is not really explosive so I am not sure if the bench is the best thing for him, only time will tell. I am not sure if it is best that he starts on this team either because I don't think he is the guy for this team going forward at the point even though I am not sure about Teague as a starter I think we need to be sure by the end of this season to see where we should go with our draft pick and trades going forward. Also, Kirk is expiring and could be huge if traded for cheap pieces or a expiring piece that is better for this team, or just a 1st round pick. As I type this and see that it is the longest one so-far there is no doubt Kirk is very important and what the team chooses to do with him and how well he plays is a key for the season.

With all that said, I expect Kirk will play well enough to make himself valuable when coming back. I think he will get some starts and come off the bench some. I think it is very likely that Teague could be sent back to the bench because he is so much more explosive but lacks the vision to be a true PG, but I think it would also be evident that Kirk is not that guy going forward to be a starting PG for this team.

I will say 8 pts 4 assists, 3 rebs, in 28 minutes per game is what Kirk will give you. I think he will finish the season with the team but it will be obvious that he is more valuable traded.
