"They use me and then throw me to trash"

Hello, first of all, i'm not a football fan, i've watched several games in my life and most of them were more than a decade ago, when NFL had a european stint with barcelona dragons, i liked the game, but never got into it, so i have few knowledge of the game itself.

In the most read newspaper here in spain i've just found a first page report ( http://www.elpais.com/articulo/reportaj ... grep_6/Tes ) about the head trauma in American football and the consecuences to the players years after they stop playing (early dementia, alzheimer, CTE (chronic traumatic encefalopathy) ) and the changes that being finally "aware" of it could make in the game...

I'm sorry the article is in spanish, and i'm too lazy (and my english is not good enough) to make a transcript/translation of it, so i guess someone would do it for me, its an interesting read, and my question is... would you guys stop watching the game if it becomes less agressive?(i don't think its violent, just agressive). Will the players/coaches/fans enforce a new kind of aproach that makes it safer?

Or like all the pro sports (sport is healthy for everyone, pro sport is really unhealthy for pro players) people would just assume the consecuences and still go all in with their heads and pray for the best?

Hoping to not bother your board, Merry x-mas to all.
