This has gotten a lot of discussion on the Trade Board. The idea of Paul having a stat line of
18,8,5,2,2 was suggested and received with a significant degree a skepticism. So what does everyone think? Stat line this year and say 3 or 4 years from now.
I'll say for this year 14, 5, 3, 1.3, 2. Three years out I'll say 17, 7, 3, 2, 2.

Re: The Paul George State LIne
George should have had 14 or 15 in the opener, he was absolutely robbed on that Charge call that should have been an "and 1". George shot the least of our starters, and had foul trouble, if he's aggressive enough and continues to shoot the 3 ball well I think he can average 15 ppg 6-7 rpg and 1.5-2 apg with 1 steal and 1 block this year.
In his prime I could see him average like 23 or 24 with elite defense and rebounding for the SG position.
3 years in, as in next year, or 3 years from now? Because 3 years from now I have to believe he could average more than 17 ppg. Heck if he improves his ball handling even slightly what can he not do on the offensive end? He can shoot, finish well in traffic, throw it down with the best of them etc... He should be at least a 20 ppg shooter 3 years from now, which should be entering a nice long prime at that point.

Height? I'd be ecstatic at 22ppg, 6 rpg, 3 apg, 1 blk, 1 spg.

Likewise, although George is almost certain to average well over 1 SPG in his prime, that's what he did as a rookie playing a bit over 20 mpg.
Stats won't tell the whole story with George, because he's absolutely a 2 way player. Plus there isn't a coach like JOB to corrupt him like what happened a little bit to granger, who has great defensive ability too, but was encouraged to chuck, and is just now getting over.

Re: The Paul George State LIne
When I suggested 18/8/5/2/2 on the trade board I might have gone a little overboard on the rbs and assists, but I truly believe 18/7/4/2/2 is obtainable if he develops as expected. Once our team realizes he is our best overall player then his numbers will skyrocket I actually thought I was being conservative on the ppg.
