Chicago: 17,112

Next five homes games:

Bettis was at the CHI game iirc, low key. If we keep building a winning product the fans will come.

Nice numbers so far but I think that our fans will show their true colors in the next 5 home games; 4 of our next 5 games at home are against bad teams, of course the fans will show up against the big boys of Chicago and Miami, if the fans continue showing up against the bad teams then we can celebrate the fact that we have some of the best fans, but showing up against the elite teams proves nothing to me.

Every time I go to Philips I have a hard time believing those numbers... just saying.

Yea those numbers are maybe a tad inflated or may not be indicative of attendance for the season. We had the home opener that usually brings in a good crowd, Miami even though only Bosh played, Chicago and then Deron. The next slate of home games has Love as the highest profile star so we'll see just how well the trend holds up.

The Minnesota game should be must see because of Rubio, Love and Williams, but it will be up against an NFL playoff game. Charlotte and Toronto are the threats for bad attendance because of a lack of buzz on those teams. I'll likely be at both games, but as a season ticket holder I believe I get counted whether I show up or not (paid attendance).

I'm not concerned with the attendance, but rather the team's focus. If I thought the fans could keep the team focused I would care, but I've seen enough examples that the correlation doesn't work here over the years. I see 3 teams with losing records and only 1 team that would be considered "good" by the media. That's an awful lot of chances to play down to the opponents. 2 of the 3 road games during the stretch are against teams playing well (Indiana and Philadelphia) which makes sleepwalking in a home game or two all the more likely.

The suites can make things deceiving and the party rooms also give people a reason to not go to their seats.

Plenty of empty seats against Charlotte tonight.

Only 10,597 showed up or had tickets.
