Vote: Rondo
Nominate: Rubio

It's got to be Rubio here. Right now, with only 14 games getting used to the NBA, he's:

#1 in the NBA Assists/48 min

#1 in the NBA in steals.

http://www.nba.com/playerfile/ricky_rub ... stats.html

How freakin' good is this kid going to be?

Moreover, he is just starting the first year of his rookie scale contract, at $3.5 mil. It will be Year 7 before he has the leverage to force his way off any team.

And finally, his hype sells tickets and makes money!

Personally, I think he's going to picked here for the nomination, and he's going to leapfrog some of the guys currently on the list in a future vote.
