Not even close. I'd love to get Batum (I just think Beas is going to get it). He's not a great shot creator but is a difference maker on the defensive end and can hit the three.
If Portland is refusing to pay him, maybe, maybe we can get him (plus filler) for something like Johnson/Beas along with Utah's and/or Memphis' #1.

What about something centred around Beasley and Ridnour or Darko for Batum and filler crap (Babitt, etc)?

That makes sense to me, but Beasley gets a negative reaction from a lot of Blazer fans in a thread on their own page.

If we could extend Batum I definitely do it. Oddly enough, I personally think that Darko and Ridnour absolutely get the deal done. They're not just fighting to make the playoffs, they're fighting to go deep. They have no depth at center or PG, this would be a really good fit for them.
This would be an interesting deadline trade but you would have to think that the next step is either writing a check to a guy like Omer Asik or calling Phoenix hourly to see if we can get a Gortat deal done.
